Face the facts

Face the facts

The more I think about it, the more I realize what my issue is with this blog. Yes, it’s been a pain in the butt, that I can’t upload pictures properly without a normal laptop. And it also doesn’t help that I write on impulse. However the main issue is that I write in Hungarian first, and then in English, for one very simple reason: I enjoy it way more in English.

Yes, I’m bad for admitting that I actually don’t like writing in my native, but if that’s a fact then I can’t do much about it. The Hungarian langue is nice, very descriptive, can be twisted so much that words with proper pre- and post-positions word are meaning their complete opposite. But as much as I like to read it when it’s other people’s work, I detest to write it. Might be due to the fact that I was so terrible at it in elementary that they made me hate it. Strange though because I was just as bad at English in the beginning. But this one grew on me. Hungarian never did.

I know it might not be a popular choice that I’m going to change it all to English, but I like it more, I feel it reflects my thoughts more. I might keep a couple of posts here and there as bilingual, or maybe even as daring as Hungarian only. But primarily I will continue writing mainly in English now. Sorry for all who will have to discontinue reading after this, but hey, I’m sure you’ll find many amazing people out there who love to write for you in our native.

Stay tuned! 😊
